AutoSSL allows you to install a free SSL certificate for your domain directly from your cPanel. Here’s how you can manually initiate the AutoSSL process:

Step 1:
Log in to your cPanel account, and navigate to SSL/TLS Status under the Security section.
Step 2:
Select the domain(s) you want to secure and click on the “Run AutoSSL” button.
Step 3:
AutoSSL will begin scanning and installing the certificate. This process may take a few minutes. Once successful, a confirmation message will appear on the screen.
Step 4:
cPanel will then automatically send a request to Comodo (now Sectigo) to generate and issue the SSL certificate. The process usually completes in a few minutes but may take up to 24 hours, depending on rate limits. Once issued, your domain will have a valid AutoSSL certificate installed.
